* Tourists departing Sri Lanka requested to contact police to arrange transport to airport

Mar 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) has requested all the hotels to support tourists, who are leaving the country, with airport transportation. The tourists are requested to contact the nearest police station it they are unable to find transportation to the airport during the curfew.

The SLTDA has made the following Public Service Announcement

A kind request to all the hotels to support tourists with airport transportation.

Acting Inspector General of Police has assured that the air ticket could be used in lieu of a curfew pass for the passengers as well as the vehicle and driver.

Drivers should go to the nearest police station, show the booking and get a curfew pass to collect the guest, drop the guest to the airport and respectively return to drivers’ home.
