* Coronavirus: Sri Lanka quarantines over 160 passengers arrived from South Korea in new facility

Mar 10, Colombo: Over 160 passengers arrived from South Korea have been sent to the newly set up quarantine centers in Batticaloa this morning, the authorities said.

The Health authorities took steps to transport 164 Sri Lankans and 2 South Koreans arrived from Seoul in Korean airline flight KE 473 this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake to the quarantine center at the Batticaloa University in the East by special buses.

Meanwhile, 20 others who arrived in the island from Italy this morning are also being sent for quarantine.
