* Russian Navy ship Admiral Vinogradov arrives at Sri Lanka’s Port of Colombo

Mar 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, has welcomed the Russian Navy ship, Admiral Vinogradov arrived at the port of Colombo today (7th March) on a four-day goodwill visit.

Russian Udaloy-class destroyer Admiral Vinogradov is 168.8m in length and has a displacement of 7595 tons. She is manned by a crew of 350 including officers and sailors.

During the ship’s four-day stay in the island, the crew members are scheduled to take part in several programs organized by Sri Lanka Navy.

Admiral Vinogradov is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka for her next port of call on 10th March.

Meanwhile, the Russian Navy Ships Yaroslav Mudry and Victor Konetsky which arrived in Sri Lanka on 04th March 2020 on a goodwill visit, departed the Colombo harbor on Friday (06th March) after successful completion of their tour events.
