During an emergency inspection tour of the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport this afternoon, the President also instructed the authorities to ensure that the security measures at the airport do not inconvenience the public.

During the tour President Rajapaksa observed the process from the time a passenger arrives at the airport to the entry to the aircraft through departure terminal. The time taken for an arriving passenger to depart the airport and the process were also extensively reviewed by the President.
