* SLFP Central Committee meets today

Jan 16, Colombo: The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) is scheduled to meet today (16) at 07.00 pm at the party headquarters. The meeting will be chaired by the party chairman, former President Maithripala Sirisena.

The Central Committee meeting will focus on the future activities of the party, reports said.

Meanwhile, the party has decided to take disciplinary action against four SLFP parliamentarian for violating the party constitution.

The SLFP Disciplinary Committee will decide the final face of disciplinary action against MPs, S.B. Dissanayake, Dilan Perera, Vijith Vijayamuni Zoysa and Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena when it meets on Saturday (18), SLFP spokesman MP Weerakumara Dissanayake said.
