* Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrives in Sri Lanka

Jan 14, Colombo: China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi also arrived in Sri Lanka on an official visit last night.

The Chinese Foreign Minister was welcomed by the State Minister Susil Premajayantha and officials of the Chinese Embassy in Colombo.

According to Foreign Ministry, the Chinese Minister will hold talks on bilateral issues of mutual interest with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Foreign Relations Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Secretary to the Foreign Ministry Ravinatha Ariyasinghe and top officials.
