* Labor Department launches survey on private institutions affected by COVID-19

Apr 28, Colombo: The Department of Labor has begun a survey of private sector organizations affected by the coronavirus COVID-19.

The objective of the survey is to facilitate the Government to take appropriate decisions regarding the existence of the private sector enterprises and the safety of its employees and to provide them with necessary relief.

Accordingly, private organizations can provide relevant information online through the Department of Labor website on or before 03 May, the Ministry of Labor announced.

The Ministry of Labor also informs private organizations to submit its information separately for each business.
