* Sri Lanka reports fourth COVID-19 coronavirus death

Apr 02, Colombo: Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe a short while ago confirmed the death of a fourth patient contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus in Sri Lanka.

The deceased is a 58-year old male receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Colombo. He has died of worsening of pneumonia from the infection.

According to the Health Promotion Bureau update released at 9 pm Thursday, total of 151 cases have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 while 126 are active cases currently on treatment at the hospitals out of the 251 cases that have been hospitalized.

So far four deaths have been reported and 21 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospitals.
