* Sri Lankan President leaves for Japan to attend Japanese Emperor's coronation ceremony

Oct 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena has left the island early this morning on a three-day visit to Japan.

The President, accompanied by a 21-member delegation has left from the Bandaranaike International Airport on Thai Airways flight TG 308 at 1:10 am Monday.

It is reported that the President Sirisena will attend the coronation of the Emperor of Japan, Naruhito in Tokyo from October 22-23 at the invitation of Japanese Government.
