* National People's Power to launch its election manifesto on 26th

Oct 20, Colombo: National People's Power (NPP) led by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) will launch their election manifesto at Waters Edge in Battaramulla on the 26th of this month.

The National People's Power states that these policies have been formulated with the input of experts and public opinion in several sectors including education, health, transport, environment, national unity, culture, agriculture.

The NPP has already released the policies for some sectors. The policy on education was released on the 14th October and the policy of health on the 15th. The policy of the environment was presented on the 17th.

The NPP said the election manifesto will consist of all the policies that have not been released so far, including the environmental policy, agriculture policy, transport policy and other unannounced policies and the already released policies.
