* SLFP inks MoU with Gotabaya Rajapaksa

Oct 19, Colombo: Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa today signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party MP Dayasiri Jayasekara signed the MoU on behalf of the party.

After signing the MoU, SLFP General Secretary tweeted that "It is a great moment in transforming the landscape of Sri Lanka."

The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party held a meeting chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (October 18) at the party headquarters to discuss the MoU between the party and the SLPP candidate.
