* Two Indian nationals arrested without visa

Oct 09, Colombo: Officers of the Madampe Police Station arrested two foreign nationals who were working in a welding workshop without a valid visa in violation of Immigration and Emigration rules.

The suspects were arrested at around 7.30 pm yesterday (October 08) in the Suduwella area of Madampe Police Division.

The two suspects have been identified as Indian nationals of ages 22 and 47.

They are due to be produced before the Chilaw Magistrate's Court today (October 09).

Madampe Police are conducting further investigations.
