* Sri Lanka Navy nabs a person with 83 Kg of Kerala cannabis

Nov 09, Colombo: Sri Lankan Navy personnel have arrested an individual with 83 kg of Kerala cannabis (Kerala Ganja) in the Chundikulam coast.

The naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command during a foot patrol in the Chundikulam coastal area have observed suspicious packages that had come ashore. The stock of cannabis has been recovered upon inspection of the packages.

The suspect and the stock of cannabis have been handed over to the Palaly police for onward legal actions.
