Nov 08, Colombo: President Maithripala Sirisena Friday opened Shangri La's 'One Galle Face Tower', and the One Galle Face Mall, the largest mall complex in the developing capital city of Colombo.

One Galle Face Mall and One Galle Face Tower join the Shangri La group's The Residences at One Galle Face and Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, which opened in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

Shangri-La Group's mall complex is designed to offer visitors an unparalleled shopping experience catering to their every need in terms of dining, entertainment, beauty, technology and shopping.

At 480,000 square feet, the equivalent of eight football pitches, the seven-storey One Galle Face Mall comprising 200 shops is the largest international mall in Sri Lanka.

The President unveiled the commemorative plaque and engaged in an observation tour of the Mall.

Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Ravi Karunanayake and John Amaratunga, parliamentarian Thilanga Sumathipala and several other invitees were present at the occasion.
