July 10, Colombo: The Attorney General will file revision application before the Colombo High Court challenging the lower court's decision to grant bail to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara and former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, the Attorney Generalís Department said.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday decided that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the murder charges brought up by the prosecution under Section 296 of the Penal Code against them.
