* Public Relations unit of the Prime Minister's Office opened

Dec 03, Colombo: Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today opened the Public Relations Division of the Prime Minister's Office at the RA De Mel Mawatha.

Addressing the media at Temple Trees this morning, PM Rajapaksa said the Public Relations Division of the Prime Minister's Office will from now on coordinate the public with relevant ministries and government agencies and a convenient atmosphere will be created for the public to directly approach Government Officials.

He said the main objective of the office is to direct the people's problems to the relevant ministries.

According to Prime Minister Rajapaksa, the Public Relations Division will be directing the complaints lodged by the public to the relevant government offices. The complaints will then be followed up until redress is given.
