* UNP leader meets MPs today to resolve the Opposition Leader crisis

Dec 02, Colombo: Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe has summoned group of UNP parliamentarians to the party headquarters Sirikotha today to resolve the crisis arisen within the party regarding the Opposition Leader post.

During a media briefing at the party headquarters Sirikotha today The General Secretary of the United National Party, MP Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said the discussions and meetings are taking place within the party to reach a consensus on the post of Opposition Leader.

According to political sources, the discussion will be very crucial in the context of the crisis in the leadership of the party and Opposition in parliament.
