* Fuel prices revised from midnight today, no change in auto diesel price

Aug 13, Colombo: The Ministry of Finance, following the monthly fuel prices revision held today announced that fuel prices will be revised with effect from midnight Tuesday (August 13), but the government has decided not to revise the price of auto diesel.

The government has decided to increase the price of petrol. Accordingly, the price of a liter of Octane 92 petrol is increased by Rs. 2 and the price of a liter of Octane 95 petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.

The price of a liter of Super diesel has been increased by Rs. three.

Accordingly, the new revised prices are as follows.

92 Octane Petrol - increased by Rs.2 from Rs. 136 to Rs.138
95 Octane Petrol - increased by Rs.4 from Rs. 159 to Rs. 163
Auto Diesel - Rs. 104 no change
Super Diesel - increased by Rs.3 from Rs. 131 to Rs. 134
