* Sri Lanka Navy arrests two persons with over 126 kg of Kerala cannabis

May 26, Colombo: A team of Sri Lankan Navy personnel have arrested two individuals with over 126 kg of Kerala cannabis (Kerala Ganja) in the North on Sunday (May 26).

The naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command apprehended the two individuals with 126.695 kg of Kerala cannabis during a raid carried out at Udayapuram area in Mannar today.

The suspects and the haul of Kerala Cannabis have been handed over to the Pesalai Police for onward legal action.

The naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command also apprehended two persons yesterday (25th May) along with 233 kg of Kerala Cannabis during a patrol in the seas off Vethalaikarni.
