* Five police superintendents transferred

May 25, Colombo: Five Police Superintendents have been transferred effective immediately on service requirements with the approval of the National Police Commission.

Accordingly, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) UPADKP Karunanayake has been transferred as the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Nugegoda Police Division from OIC Jaffna Police Division.

Superintendent of Police (SP) TGNWD Thalduwa has been appointed as the OIC of the Jaffna Police Division from the Elpitiya Division while SP HSN Peiris has been transferred as OIC to the Elpitiya Division from Mannar Division.

Superintendent of Police BDTPA Weerasinghe has been transferred to the Mannar Division as the OIC from the Human Resource Management Division while Superintendent of Police SP Ranasinghe has been transferred as the OIC to the Human Resources Management Division from the Nugegoda Division.
