* Two suspects with close links to NTJ arrested in Horowpathana

May 17, Colombo: Two suspects have been arrested in Horowpathana on suspicion of having closed relations with the leader of National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ) organization Sahran Hashim.

The Special Task Force in Horowpathana made the arrest last evening (16), Police Media Spokesman's Office said.

The suspects have been identified as Noor Mohamed Addu Ul and Ajibul Jabar, residents of Kapugollewa, Horowpathana.

The police have received information that they have had direct ties with the NTJ and the leader Mohamad Sahran Hashim, who carried out the suicide attack in Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo on Easter Sunday.

The suspects are to be produced before the Kebithigollewa Magistrate court today.
