* No-Confidence motion against Minister Bathiudeen handed over to Speaker

May 16, Colombo: The no-confidence motion against the Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training & Skills Development Rishad Bathiudeen has been handed over to the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today (16) morning.

Joint Opposition MP Udaya Gammanpila handed over the no-confidence motion to the Speaker at his office.

The motion is signed by 64 MPs of the Joint Opposition, the Speaker's Media Office said.

Parliamentarians Thenuka Vidagamage, Kanchana Wijesekara and Anuradha Jayaratne were also present.
