* Police Commission approves transfer of Kuliyapitiya OIC on service requirement

May 15, Colombo: Officer in charge of Kuliyapitiya Police Division, Superintendent of Police Oshan Hewavitharana has been transferred as the Deputy Director of Kalutara Police Training College.

The Police Headquarters stated that Officer in charge of Nugegoda Police Division Superintendent of Police L.S. Sigera has been appointed as the Officer in charge of the Kuliyapitiya Division.

Police Media Spokesman Superintendent of Police SP Ruwan Gunasekara said Superintendent of Police WMAR Fernando of the Presidential Security Division has been transferred to take charge of the Nugegoda Police Division.

National Police Commission approval has been granted to the transfers according to service requirements, the Spokesman said.
