* Two killed, one injured in shooting in Moratumulla

Mar 14, Colombo: Two individuals have been killed and another was injured following a shooting incident on Piliyandala Road in Moratumulla around 10:30 this morning, the police said.

Two gunmen arrived on a motorcycle have opened fire at the victims standing on the road in front of a house, Police Media Spokesman's Office said.

The victims have been identified as a bus owner, his son and a friend of the son. The bus owner and the friend of his son had died at the location while the son was injured and admitted to the Colombo General Hospital.

The shooting had reportedly been carried out over a personal dispute.

One of the gunmen has been identified by police while Moratumulla Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspects.
