* Two suspects arrested with 2 kg of heroin, 12 kg cannabis

June 15, Colombo: The Police Narcotics Bureau has arrested two suspects with 2 kilograms of heroin and a firearm in Seeduwa during a raid conducted at the Rubberwatte Junction in Seeduwa.

According to information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau, a suspect was arrested with 521 grams of heroin while inspecting a car.

During an inspection of a house in the Raddolugama, Seeduwa area carried out on the information obtained from the Investigations following the arrest of the suspect, the police have found more than one and a half kilograms of heroin and arrested the second suspect, the Police Media Office said.

The police have also seized 12 kilograms of cannabis, 500 Ecstasy pills, a pistol, 7 bullets, one cartridge and more than Rs. 108,000 during the raid of the house.
