* PSC probing Easter Sunday attacks to convene today for the fourth time

June 13, Colombo: The Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to probe the Easter Sunday attacks and report to parliament will convene for the fourth time at 2 pm today at the Parliamentary complex.

Former Governor of the Eastern Province MLAM Hizbullah, former IGP NK Illangakoon and Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration JJ Ratnasiri are scheduled to appear before the Committee today to present evidence.

The Select Committee met on three previous occasions.

Former Governor of the Western Province Azath Salley and the Chairman of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Organization, gave evidence before the Parliament Select Committee on Tuesday (June 11).

Earlier, Secretary of Defense Retired General Shantha Kottegoda, Former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, IGP Pujith Jayasundara who has been sent on compulsory leave, the Former Director of the Terrorist Investigations Division Deputy Inspector General of Police Nalaka de Silva and Former Chief of the State Intelligence Service Sisira Mendis, testified before the committee.
