* Sri Lanka Marxist party to launch agitation tomorrow demanding the government to resign

June 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka Marxist party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) is preparing to launch an agitation campaign tomorrow (12th) demanding the government that "made the country anarchic and sacrificed public security".

JVP Information Secretary MP Vijitha Herath said the Agitation and a protest walk against the government will be held in Colombo on the 12th at 3.00 p.m.

The JVP emphasized that the government that betrays the country before the USA led world forces, that burdens the masses with extreme taxes and increases prices of essential goods and sells resources of the country including the oil tank farm in Trincomalee and lands belonging to the people should resign immediately.

MP Herath said the campaign will be supported by several progressive forces including workers' students' women's and youths' organizations.
