* President appoints governors to three more provinces

Jan 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed new Governors for three more provinces and they were sworn in before the President at the Presidential Secretariat on Monday (07).

Accordingly, new governors were appointed for the Uva, Sabaragamuwa and Northern Provinces.

Election monitor and executive director of Campaign for Free and Fair Elections R. Keerthi Tennakoon has been appointed as the Governor of Uva Province.

Dr. Suren Ragawan has been appointed as the Governor of Northern Province and Dr. Damma Dissanayake has been appointed to govern the Sabaragamuwa Province.
