Feb 22, Colombo: State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardene was sworn-in as the non-cabinet Minister of Mass Media today.

State Minister Wijewardene took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena at the President's House today as the non-cabinet Minister of Mass Media, President's Media Division said.

Meanwhile, Minister Mangala Samaraweera was sworn in as the cabinet minister of Finance.

Minister Samaraweera held the portfolio of Mass Media earlier in addition to the Finance portfolio.
