* Six more suspects including Makandure Madush's cousin deported from Dubai arrested at BIA

Apr 17, Colombo: Six more suspects, who were arrested in Dubai along with the underworld leader Makandure Madush, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake early this morning after they were deported from Dubai last night.

The six suspects arrived today including a cousin of the underworld leader Makandure Madush were taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers at the Bandaranaike International Airport for further questioning.

The six men arrived on SriLankan Airlines flight UL 226 from Dubai have been identified as Mohamed Riyaz Mohamed Badurdeen, Mahawaththege Gayan Buddhima Perera, Mohamed Hibry Miohamed Jabeer, Suresh Wasantha Ranasinghe, Rupasinghe Simon Hewage and Nilan Romesh Samarasinghe (Cousin of Madush)

Dubai authorities on 5th February 2019 arrested 31 Sri Lankans including the underworld leader Makandure Madush, father and son duo musicians Amal Perera and Nadeemal Perera and actor Ryan Van Rooyen. Fifteen suspects have been deported and arrived in the country earlier.
