Oct 10, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and newly elected President of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met at the VIP Lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo this morning (October 10).

Sri Lankan President was returning to the country after completing a two-day state visit to Seychelles today and the Maldivian President was transiting at Colombo airport on his way from Malé to Singapore when they met at the VIP lounge.

The President offered his warmest greetings and congratulations to the new Maldivian President at the encounter.
