* Government's aim is to increase the incomes of the people- Minister Sagala

Oct 07, Colombo: Minister of Youth Affairs and Soother Development Sagala Ratnayake says that the present government expects to increase the income of the people.

The Minister made this statement while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Arunella development project in Pitabeddara, Kaduruwana.

The Ministry of Southern Development will implement 400 development programs in Deniyaya under this program.

As the first program, the Kandurawana new village road will be developed with concrete pavements at a cost of Rs. 500,000.

The government hopes to complete all these development projects by December this year with the objective of facilitating the development of rural roads and providing facilities to local government institutions.
