* Finance Minister requests proposals from the public for next year's budget

Oct 04, Colombo: Minister of Finance and Mass media Mangala Samaraweera is now receiving proposals from the public to include in his 2019 Budget speech titled "Strong economy and Prosperous Nation" which will be presented in the parliament on 05th November, 2018.

To make his Budget proposal to be more fruitful and peoples oriented, the Minister requests every segment of the society including professionals, academics, persons who engage in the Production services and Agricultural sectors and the public to present their proposals and opinions.

Issuing a press release the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media says the public can send their proposals to following address or the E mail on or before 12th October, 2018.
