* Two police constables on duty at roadblock found dead

Nov 30, Colombo: The bodies of two police constables who were on duty at a check point in the Vavunathivu, Batticaloa police division had been found near the roadblock.

Police Media Spokesman's Office said that the bodies were found at around 6.00 am today.

The two Constables are believed to have died under suspicious circumstances and the cause of the deaths is yet to be determined.

The Inspector General of Police has ordered an investigation into the suspicious deaths. Police Superintendent in charge of Batticaloa Police division is heading the investigation.
