* President calls all party leaders for a conference today

Nov 18, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has called for an All Party Conference with the participation of all political parties represented in Parliament today.

The ALL Party Conference will be held under the leadership of the President at the Presidential Secretariat on Sunday, November 18 at 5:00 p.m., the President's Media Division (PMD) announced.

The President has summoned the meeting with the intention to reach a consensus among all political parties to end the recent political unrest prevailed in the parliament and maintain the parliamentary affairs.

All political party leaders representing the Parliament have been invited to participate in the meeting and Speaker of the Parliament Karu Jayasuriya has also been invited to this meeting.
