Nov 02, Colombo: Following the directive of new Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to reduce prices of fuel from midnight Thursday, Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC), the competitor to the state-run fuel distributor Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, has also revised its fuel prices.
The LIOC said it has reduced the prices of Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD) by Rs. 11 per liter and Lanka Petrol 92 (LP92) by Rs. 2 per liter from midnight today.
The revised price of a Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD) liter will be Rs. 118 and a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 will be Rs. 153.
Meanwhile, price of Lanka Super Diesel (Euro 4) liter will be Rs. 141, liter of Xtra MILE Rs. 122, Xtra Premium EURO 3 liter Rs. 157 and Xtra Premium 95 (Euro 4) liter will be Rs.172.
