* Sri Lankan electronics & electrical companies delegation to visit Tenaga Expo & Forum in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore from July 16 -21

July 11, Colombo: The Sri Lanka Export Development Board is organizing a exposure visit along with one-on-one business meetings in Malaysia and Singapore from 16th -21st July 2018 with the participation of 6 electronics and electrical sector companies in Sri Lanka.

Business networking meetings in Malaysia and Singapore will be organized with the assistance of High Commissions of Sri Lanka in Malaysia and Singapore.

The Sri Lankan delegation will visit 'Tenaga Kuala Lumpur Exhibition 2018', one of the leading trade fairs for Electrical and Electronics industry in Southeast Asia.

The main objectives of this program are to meet prospective partners for possible Joint ventures, to find new contacts and new markets, to enhance business relations with existing contacts, explore Malaysia and Singapore Electronics and Electrical markets and new trends in technology and innovation, and to export certain components to Electronics & Electrical Sector in Malaysia and Singapore to increase Electronics and Electrical sector exports to Malaysia and Singapore from US$ 8.5 million in 2016 to US$9.5 million by 2019.

The six Sri Lankan companies visiting in the delegation are: T & G Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Lanka Hiqu (Pvt.) Ltd, TOS Lanka Co. Pvt Ltd, Kelani Cables Plc, Frostaire Industries Pvt Ltd, KIK Lanka Pvt Ltd, and Hitech Solutions.

The delegation will be visiting Malaysia from 15th to 18th July and Singapore from 18th to 21st July.
