* Lanka IOC also reduces fuel prices from today

Dec 01, Colombo: Following the reduction of oil prices by the state-run fuel distributor Ceylon Petroleum Corporation prices from midnight Friday, Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC), has also decided to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 5 per liter with effect from midnight Friday 30 November.

Accordingly, the price of a liter of Lanka Auto Diesel and Lanka Petrol 92 will be reduced by Rs 5 per liter. Also the price Super Diesel (Euro 4) & Xtra Premium 95 Petrol (Euro 4) by Rs 5 per liter even though the company incurs heavy losses, IOC said.

The revised price of a Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD) liter will be Rs. 106 and a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 will be Rs. 143.

Meanwhile, price of Lanka Super Diesel (Euro 4) liter will be Rs. 131, liter of Xtra MILE Rs. 110, Xtra Premium EURO 3 liter Rs. 147 and Xtra Premium 95 (Euro 4) liter will be Rs.162.
