* Chinese Navy ship Qian Weichang leaves Sri Lanka after completion of tour

Aug 12, Colombo: The People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) hydrographic survey vessel Qian Weichang, which arrived at the port of Colombo in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit on Wednesday (08th August) left the harbor yesterday after completing its four-day tour.

Sri Lanka Navy made customary farewell to the departing ship, in compliance with naval traditions, the Navy said.

During their stay in the country, the ship's crew members visited some places of tourist attraction in Sri Lanka and took part in several programs organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
