* Reforms of the SLFP before June 30 - General Secretary

May 18, Colombo: Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Central Committee has decided to conclude the reforms of the party before 30th June, SLFP General Secretary Minister Duminda Dissanayake said.

This decision was taken at the Central Committee meeting held Thursday night under the leadership of the SLFP Chairman, President Maithripala Sirisena.

A special attention has been focused on the necessary program for the reorganization of the SLFP at the meeting, according to the party General Secretary.

The Central Committee has decided to meet again on June 3rd. It has been decided to call both Central Committee and the Executive Committed on the 3rd and appoint office bearers of the party on a temporary basis.

The Central Committee has decided that afterwards, the reorganization of the party including the district committees and other committees affiliated with the party will be carried out, SLFP General Secretary said.
