* Grenade explosion during training in Diyathalawa Air Force camp injures three

May 17, Colombo: Three airmen of Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) were wounded and admitted to the Diyathalawa Base Hospital today following a grenade explosion this morning.

Air Force Media Spokesman Group Captain Gihan Seneviratne said the injured included an instructor, a sergeant and a female trainee.

SLAF) Media Spokesperson said the incident occurred at around 10.00am today (17) during a training exercise at the SLAF Combat Training School in Diyathalawa.
