May 14, Colombo: The Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera has appointed new heads to lead the state media institutions effective from Monday (14).

Renowned film director Mrs. Inoka Sathyangani Keerthinanda has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.

Additional Secretary (Development) of the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media Mrs. Thilaka Jayasundara has been appointed as the Chairperson of the state TV, Independent Television Network.

Siddique Mohammed Farook has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) and Mrs Uma Rajamanthri has been appointed as the Chairperson SELACINE Television Institution.
