* No UNP MP will support the no-confidence motion against PM - MP

Mar 19, Colombo: National Youth Front Chairman, parliamentarian Kavinda Jayawardene says that the no-confidence motion that is to be brought against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe by the joint opposition will not receive any support from any United National Party (UNP) member of parliament.

He said the no-confidence motion against the PM is a dud and the UNP is looking forward to convert the dud into a mortar and redirect it at the Joint Opposition.

MP Jayawardena added that the party is strong enough to face any challenge and work with a straight backbone.

MP Kavinda Jayawardene further said that the individuals in the joint opposition who were involved in fraud and corruption have been identified and in the future they will be duly presented with no confidence to the Parliament.
