Mar 06, Colombo: Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the government will take immediate action to compensate for the lives lost and property damaged by the unfortunate incidents in the Kandy, Digana and Theldeniya areas.

This was stated in a special statement made by the Prime Minister in parliament today in connection with the events that took place in Theldeniya and Digana in Kandy.

The Prime Minister expressing his regret over the damage to lives and properties said the government would not hesitate to take strict legal action against these organized and sabotage acts.
