June 17, Colombo: Sri Lanka Customs has arrested two Chinese nationals at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake for attempting to take containers made of Kothala Himbutu and dried sea horses.

The Customs officials have seized 265 dried sea horses and 8 containers made of Kothala Himbutu worth Rs. 160,000, packed in their luggage.

The Chinese nationals are engaged in employment in the country and they were going back to China for a holiday,

Deputy Customs Director Vipula Minuwangoda said the three Chinese were severely warned and allowed to leave.
