* MP Dayasiri Jayasekara arrives at CID to give statement

June 11, Colombo: Former cabinet minister and Kurunegala District UPFA parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekara has arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this morning to give a statement.

It has been reported that MP Jayasekara is to give a statement for the investigation on the allegation of accepting Rs 1 million from a Perpetual Treasuries Limited's subsidiary company.

According to a B report filed into the magisterial inquiry over the Bond scam, it was revealed that MP Jayasekara received a check of Rs.1 million from Walt & Row Associates, a PTL subsidiary in 2015 for election campaign.
