Jan 23, Colombo: Five new Ambassadors to Sri Lanka presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena on Tuesday at a ceremony held at the President's House, Colombo.

The new diplomats assuming duties were Ambassador of Sudan Sirajuddin Hamid Yousif, Ambassador of Vietnam Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ngoc, Ambassador of Myanmar Han Thu, Ambassador of Korea Mr. Lee Heon and Ambassador of China Cheng Xueyuan.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tilak Marapana and the Secretary to the President, Austin Fernando were present on this occasion.
