* Building collapse in Sri Lankan capital kills seven people

Feb 14, Colombo: Sri Lankan police say at least seven people have died when an old tea warehouse collapsed in the Grandpass area of capital Colombo today.

Police Media spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said firefighters and Grandpass police are searching for people who may be trapped under the rubble.

Police say at least 12 people were inside the building when it collapsed..

The cause of the collapse is being investigated.
