* Another discussion between the President and the Prime Minister today to discuss cabinet reshuffle

Apr 24, Colombo: President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe are expected to hold another meeting today to discuss the proposed cabinet reshuffle, Deputy General Secretary of the United National Party (UNP) Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said.

The Minister said that a discussion between the President and the Prime Minister was held yesterday with regard to the cabinet reshuffle and another round of discussion will be held today.

Meanwhile, the 16 Sri Lanka Freedom party members who resigned from mistrial posts after voting for the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister will also meet the President to take a crucial decision whether to sit in the opposition when the parliament reconvenes on May 8.
