* President and Prime Minister to meet to discuss the cabinet reshuffle

Apr 23, Colombo: Deputy General Secretary of the United National Party (UNP) Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam says President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe are expected to meet this evening to discuss the cabinet reshuffle.

He says the President and the Prime Minister will take a final decision on a new cabinet and on continuing the unity government at the meeting this evening.

Deputy Minister J.C. Alawathuwala has said that the UNP and the SLFP will join together again to form a new government and the new ministers will be appointed scientifically.
